Scottish based 1A Productions have recently completed an extraordinary film about the translation of the King James Bible. This exciting drama documentary presented by John Rhys-Davies (Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones), and directed by BAFTA winner Norman Stone (Shadowlands) leads us back into a darker time to discover this fascinating tale of saints and sinners, power and passion. This translation of the Bible was to affect the world and it's culture for the next 400 year.

Filmed at a variety of dramatic locations from Stirling Castle to Hampton Court Palace, this engrossing film is a wonderful celebration of the Authorised Version’s four centuries.
