46 confirmed in St Donard's
As the confirmation season draws to a close, Bishop Harold confirmed 46 candidates in a packed St Donard's on Sunday evening 29 May.
The group, which included several adult confirmees, was drawn from six parishes - St Finnian's, St Molua's, St Columba's, St Dorothea's, St Mark's Dundela and Greyabbey and Kircubbin. This was the second of the Lagan Area Deanery services and followed the new model involving audiovisuals, a worship group, testimonies and profile sheets (similar to yearbooks) outlining a bit about each person getting confirmed.
The evening ended with a magnificient dessert supper and the ever popular chocolate fountain.
The next confirmation service will be for the Loughview Area deanery and will take place in Holywood Parish.
