Bishop Harold speaks at ICS Conference
Bishop Harold has been the guest speaker at the Intercontinental Church Society Clergy and Families Conference in Beatenberg, near Interlaken in Switzerland. The theme for the conference has been 'The Kingdom: Future hope and present reality'.
"Around 90 people gathered for the annual conference," writes Bishop Harold. "Mostly they were people engaged in English-speaking ministry in Europe and The Bishop of Europe, Geoffrey Rowell, was also present.
"Dean John Dinnen is honorary travelling secretary for Ireland for ICS, and was chaplain at the conference. Many of our clergy in Down and Dromore have helped in the ministry of the ICS chaplaincies, and even more of us have benefited from the English-speaking churches run by ICS , not least on holidays."
