Help Natalie carry on the journey

Having been to Uganda in 2011 to see for herself the result of Charlene’s vision and faith, Hidden Treasures has truly made an impact on Natalie.

Natalie (pictured right) is Charlene’s younger sister and is about to start teacher training college this September, however far from seeing University as simply an opportunity to meet people, have fun and all the other things students usually look forward to, Natalie aims to use her experience as a spring board to continuing the work Charlene started with Hidden Treasures.

In hoping to travel to Uganda every summer to help with teaching there, alongside using her knowledge and skill set of Hockey to train and get young people involved in sport, Natalie has a firm idea of how she can play her part in building the educational experience young people there have of Hidden Treasures.

To help her achieve this aim, Natalie has entered the HSBC bursary scheme for students who wish to use their University experiences for the benefit of other people – to help Natalie get considered for this scheme, please log in to facebook and vote for her before 23.59 on the 30th September!
