Ministry Fair at St John’s Parish, Lurgan
As part of a process of parish development the congregation of St John’s Lurgan had a ‘ministry fair’ on Sunday September 11th.
The Parish had set aside 21 days to focus on prayer, followed by a period of 70 days during which the members were encouraged to consider ‘having a go’ at getting involved in a ministry of the church. This would allow them to experiment and to explore areas of the church’s life and ministry to see if it is something that they may wish to commit to over a longer term.
The organisations and ministries of the church had done a super job of setting up displays, giving some background information and encouraging people to come and see what they do.
