Ordination and Consecration of The Revd John McDowell as Bishop
Please remember the former rector of St Mark’s Dundela in your prayers as he becomes Bishop of Clogher on Friday 23rd September 2011 at St Macartin’s Cathedral, Enniskillen.
John will be ordained and consecrated by the Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland, The Most Revd Alan Harper, OBE, assisted by other bishops.
The preacher at the service will be The Rt Revd Suheil Dawani, Bishop of Jerusalem & the Middle East and the Porvoo Communion of Churches will also be represented, by The Rt Revd Ingeborg Midttømme, Bishop of Møre, Church of Norway.
