Pray for David Gough as he travels for CMSI in Africa

David Gough of CMS Ireland departs on 3rd October on a  Global Partner visit to Africa. You can download his itinerary here.

David writes: Please pray for me as I travel to Egypt, South Sudan and, for the first time with CMS Ireland, to 3 Partner Dioceses in the Democratic Republic of Congo. I last visited DR Congo in 2003 when I worked for Concern. Please especially pray for the Sudan Missions Consultation in Cairo with Archbishop Deng, also for the travel arrangements to the Dioceses of Kindu, Bukavu and North Kivu in DR Congo, as the airlines and transport is often unreliable.

Can I invite you to use the following prayer from the Celtic tradition to surround me in my journey…

Circle me O God

Keep hope within

Despair without

Circle me O God

Keep peace within

Keep turmoil out

Circle me O God

Keep calm within

Keep storms without

Circle me O God

Keep strength within

Keep weakness out.

CMS Ireland continues to support our Global Partners and below are some of the recent highlights in the countries I’m visiting…
