Presentation to Revd Desmond Logan on his retirement

The Revd Desmond Logan retired on the 30th October after 14 years as Rector of St. Clements, Belfast.

Mr Logan, originally a parishioner of St Finnian’s, Cregagh, entered the stipendiary ministry after a successful career in the civil service. Initially he was a lay reader before training for the NSM and serving in several parishes in the Diocese of Down and Dromore. He became incumbent of St Clements in 1997.

After church, about 100 people gathered to pay tribute to Desmond and Joan at a farewell lunch in the hall. They were warmly thanked for their 14 years of faithful ministry and presented with pictures, flowers and gift tokens towards holidays and a garden centre.
