’Back to the future’ for Harold and Patsy

Harold and Patsy Graham celebrated their golden wedding anniversary by going ‘back to the future’ on Sunday 15th January. They attended  morning worship at Drumgooland Parish Church where they wed on Wednesday 17th January 1962, the day, half a century ago, when they began their future together.

Appropriately, it was a ‘family’ service where the rector, the Revd David Somerville traditionally hands out bars of chocolate to children celebrating birthdays or special events.  Mr Somerville welcomed Harold and Patsy to the service and although the happy couple are long past their childhood days he presented them with a bar of chocolate to commemorate this special occasion.

Following the service, Harold and Patsy and the entire family circle enjoyed a Golden Wedding Anniversary Dinner at the Angler’s Rest Restaurant. We offer our congratulations to the happy couple!
