Lectionary readings now on our homepage
In 2011, as part of celebrations the 400th anniversary of the KJV, we provided the Bible Society reading plan to take you through the Bible in a year.
This has been replaced in 2012 with Daily Bible Readings from the Church of Ireland Lectionary (Set A). You will find the link under the gallery on our homepage.
Listing A is from the two–year programme which covers almost the whole Bible in semi–continuous reading over the two years. This may be used at either the Morning or Evening Office.
In the alternate year the New Testament readings are mostly from the gospels. This year they are mostly from the rest of the New Testament. In this way the whole of the New Testament is read over two years. The greater part of the Old Testament is also covered over the two years.
