Pastor Nadarkhani: There’s still time to act

A decision on Pastor Nadarkhani’s death sentence could be issued within days – and you can still help to make a difference.

Building on tens of thousands of protest messages sent through Christian Solidarity Worldwide’s website, we’re intensifying our efforts to ensure that Pastor Nadarkhani is not forgotten.

It’s now time to raise the pastor’s case with the person who heads up Iran’s judiciary, Mr Sadegh Larijani. He is a man of great influence, who may be able to secure clemency for Pastor Nadarkhani.

Email Sadegh Larijani, the head of Iran’s judiciary now.

Background

Pastor Nadarkhani of the evangelical Church of Iran was arrested in his home city of Rasht in 2009. In September 2010 he was tried and found guilty of apostasy (abandoning Islam), and was sentenced to death. His case was eventually referred to Iran’s highest political and religious authority, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei. Now a final decision is expected within days.
