Christians Against Poverty wins Sunday Times awards

CAP is once again celebrating success in the Sunday Times ‘Best Small Companies To Work For’ award ceremony. They ranked third in the category of ‘Best Not–For–Profit to Work For’. The title of ‘Best Leader’ was shared by John Kirkby and Matt Barlow, and they picked up a special award for staff wellbeing. These achievements mark their fourth consecutive year in the top three, having won several awards each year they have entered the competition.

The ‘Best Companies’ awards have long been recognised as the benchmark for all that is outstanding in terms of working environment. This year, CAP achieved the highest marks in six out of eight areas considered by the judging panel, based on an anonymous and wide–ranging survey of the 170–strong workforce at Jubilee Mill – their Bradford headquarters.

Christians Against Poverty is a national debt counselling charity with 3 centres in our diocese. Read more about their work here.
