Our Youth and Children’s website is back!

There’s been a bit of a space at www.ddyc.co.uk for a while but the Down and Dromore Youth and Children’s Department website is back with a new look.

There’s stacks more on the site to keep you up to date with people, events, training and resources and articles. There’s also a photo gallery that stretches back to 2005 so you can relive some of the memories and groan at what you were wearing then.

You may also have noticed that the department has been rebranded with a new colour scheme and graphics, however our committment to children and youth remains the same. Do click the following link and check out the site.

About

The Down and Dromore Youth and Children’s Department was set up by the Diocese in 2011 as an amalgamation of Diocesan youth ministry and a newly created children’s ministry. It currently includes a development officer for young people

(Andrew Brannigan) and one for children (Julie Currie) as well as several volunteers. It is advised by a youth and children’s council and supported by two distinct working groups for both children and young people.

In 2011 our parishes organised or hosted 590 separate initiatives for children and young people involving almost 2,000 voluntary leaders
