Canons and new Chancellor installed
Two new canons recently took up their stalls in our diocesan cathedrals and one canon became Chancellor.
Rector of Magheralin and Dollingstown, Revd Gareth Harron, became a canon of Dromore Cathedral on 13 April. At the same service, Canon Robert Howard took a new stall and become the Chancellor of Dromore. The preacher at the service was Canon Jim Harron.
In Down Cathedral on Thursday 19 April, rector of St Finnian’s, Revd Jono Pierce was made canon. The preacher for the occasion was the Bishop of Clogher, Rt Revd John McDowell.
