Church of Ireland General Synod 2012 begins in Dublin

The 2012 General Synod is taking place in Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin, from Thursday 10 to Saturday 12 May.

Proceedings began with a short act of worship led by The Bishop of Clogher, The Rt Revd John McDowell and The Bishop of Tuam, The Rt Revd Patrick Rooke.

The Most Revd Alan Harper, OBE, Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland, gave his Presidential Address and after the day’s business had been conducted there was a Synod Eucharist in St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin.
