Wichi Women’s ConferenceA group of women, including Shelley Stokes and Isabel Vilte, are planning the next Wichi women’s conference, planned to take place in Alto de la Sierra on 3–4 May. Mechi Tarragona from San Marcos in Buenos Aires will also be coming to do some teaching, in various places nearby.
Catherine Drayson
From 9–16 May in Juarez Catherine will be hosting and coordinating a Mother’s Union Parenting Course. Please pray for safety of travel for everyone, that the right people will attend this course and for the translation process, and that it will begin to make an impact on the communities here. It is an exciting, and busy time, but please pray that God’s Holy Spirit will work in people’s hearts and lives.
Alejandro Deane
Pray for funding for Alejandro’s “Yachuyaj wo” project (Wichi word for gardener), which encourages Wichi families to grow vegetable gardens using drip irrigation techniques. This is vital to promote better health and nutrition among the Wichi and help prevent migration which affects their culture and dignity.

Please pray for them as a family, for their health and protection at all times, for safety on the roads (very high accident rate in Argentina), for God’s empowering in their ministry, and his guidance for the next stage.
