Tell us how you’ll celebrate the Diamond Jubilee
Please let us know how you’re planning to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee over the holiday weekend.
You’re warmly welcomed to join us at Down Cathedral on Saturday 2 June at 3.00pm for a special celebration service. Lady Christine Eames will speak and afterwards we’ll eat together in the Cathedral grounds. Bring your own picnic! We hope to welcome lots of folk from across the diocese of all ages and each person attending will receive a special Jubilee New Testament.

A few parishes so far (Seagoe, Annahilt and Kilkeel) have announced Jubilee Lunches or picnics on Sunday 3 June and Movilla Abbey will have a community party and light a beacon on 4 June. We’re sure there are more of those events out there so please do tell us and send some photos afterwards!
