Toddlers team–up for charity
The Toddler group at Christ Church Kilkeel finished another successful year with a fundraising buggy push through the town.
Parents and children from both sides of the community took a sponsored stroll towards the beach and past the playground without stopping (that must have been difficult!) and back towards the church halls. The fact that hot dogs and other goodies awaited kept everyone going on a warm and sunny day.
“Our parents made a great effort as always,” said Toddler leader and the parish Family Outreach Worker, Lynda Quinn (right of photo). “We were thrilled to be able to write cheques for £250 each to Macmillan Nurses and Headlines, both charities close to our hearts.”
