Free Bible Society multimedia resource
The Bible Society in Northern Ireland (BSNI) has just finished work on a multimedia resource which includes short videos (from China, West Papua, and India) photographs and PowerPoint presentations. One of the videos, showing a Chinese woman buying a Bible is only 56 seconds long but it is very telling.
If your parish has projection equipment, either in the church, or the facility to show visual material at a midweek meeting from a laptop, the videos would be both supportive and encouraging and a resource for prayer.
Similarly, the other resources on the disk could be used to support sermons, children’s talks, prayers of intercession or even shown while the offering is being collected.
Already, some churches are proposing to use some of the resources within the Bible Sunday Service they are planning.
BSNI is happy to make this disk available to you as a free resource if it will help you develop a greater love for Scripture and appreciate the need to support Bible translation and distribution abroad so that others can gain what we already possess in abundance – a Bible in our own language.
