Children’s and Youth Workers breakfast
Over 30 Youth and Children’s workers from around the diocese recently gathered for a prayer breakfast at Church House hosted by Bishop Harold.
This has become an annual event and a great opportunity near the start of the term for mutual support, the exchange of ideas and a chance to meet folk new to Youth and Children’s Work in Down and Dromore.
“There are over 40 paid workers and interns across the diocese which is incredibly exciting for the future of the church in Down and Dromore and for which we commend our parishes,” said the Diocesan Youth Officer, Andrew Brannigan.
Andrew and Children’s Officer, Julie Currie, outlined the work of the Youth and Children’s Department and the many programmes and opportunities available to the leaders and their groups. Bishop Harold addressed the group who then prayed for one another and their ministries before adjourning to the Cathedral for the photo below.
