Premiere screening of ‘Live 58’ with Mark Simpson at Tearfund’s new offices

Local journalist Mark Simpson will host a premiere screening of Live 58 at Tearfund’s new offices at Skainos on Saturday 17 November.

Set against the backdrop of some of the world’s greatest need,

Live 58

tells inspiring stories of Christians and churches who are working to transform their local communities around the world.

‘Live 58 is an extraordinary film which highlights how churches locally and globally are working to end extreme poverty’ says Tim Magowan, Tearfund’s Northern Ireland Director. ‘Come and join our conversation around the film and visit our new offices at Skainos, an amazing urban regeneration project which has been developed by the East Belfast Mission on the Newtownards Road’.

Following the screening, Mark Simpson will host a discussion exploring the film’s themes with Clive Mather, Tearfund’s Chairperson, Bishop Harold Miller, one of Tearfund’s Vice Presidents, and members of the audience.

The screening will start at 7pm on Saturday 17th November at Tearfund NI’s brand new offices at Skainos, 241 Newtownards Road, Belfast.
