Titanic viewing figures!

We hope you managed to see ‘Mission Titanic’ which aired on UTV on Sunday evening 30 September.

The half–hour documentary followed Revd Chris Bennett in his quest to find a boat that could become a floating shared chaplaincy in the Abercorn Basin.

Even if you didn’t see it, there are many thousand who did! The programme won its slot, beating all other channels and the ITV network too. It averaged 18% of available viewers, and was watched by around 102,000 people – although it peaked at 117,000 viewers.

Congratulations to Tyrone Productions and particularly to the programme’s producer, Patricia Moore. Both she and UTV are delighted with the outcome, as is the diocese.

Watch it now (expires in 28 days).

We know that for now, The Dock Cafe and not a boat is the centre of activity in the Titanic Quarter, but we invite you to follow the Dock story as it unfolds at www.thedockchurch.org
