Free to churches: 2013 Bible Reading Plans

Each year, the Bible Society in Northern Ireland partners with our sister Society in Dublin to produce a Daily Bible Reading Plan. We have decided to make it available to churches at no cost because we feel that the encouragement of regular Bible reading is vital.

If you are able to distribute copies for use within your parish or congregation, we would be very happy to hear from you.

The Reading Plan is a simple tool to help people develop a daily reading habit. We are sure that like us, you are passionate about God’s Word and the power it holds to speak into people’s daily lives.

We have printed 5,000 copies for distribution on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Let us know how many copies you need and we will reserve them for you for collection from Bible House at 27 Howard Street, Belfast. If you are not near Belfast and cannot arrange for someone to collect them for you, we can post them but you will understand that we would have to charge postage.

If your church wishes to support this initiative by making a donation in the coming months, that of course would be very welcome.

Simple Layout

The Reading Plan has a simple monthly layout, and each reading can be ticked off once they have been completed.

The guide is small enough to fit inside a Bible, or to give out with a Church bulletin or newsletter.

We would be encouraged if your church could make use of this resource. It will help people start the New Year reading Scripture systematically, so that they might grow in faith and hear God speak to them each day.
