Bishop Harold congratulates Bishop–elect, Revd Ferran Glenfield
I wish Ferran Glenfield every blessing as the new bishop–elect of Kilmore. Ferran and Jean have only been with us for a short time in the diocese of Down and Dromore, but it has been a time of great blessing for the people of Hillsborough.
The wider church has now recognized in him a gifting for episcopal ministry – he is particularly gifted in teaching, pastoring and administration – and these gifts will be used to great effect in the diocese of Kilmore, Elphin and Ardagh. May the Lord pour on Ferran a real sense of his peace as he prepares for this new ministry, in succession to Bishop Ken Clarke.
