Manager for Coffee Area, part–time
Lisburn Cathedral is building a 21st century Christian Community and wishes to reach out and engage with the people of Lisburn and to see people transformed by encountering Jesus.
The Cathedral wishes to appoint a Coffee Area Manager who can develop and implement a strategy for the new Cathedral coffee/visitor area that supports the vision of the Cathedral. The Manager will oversee the work of a team of volunteers working in the Coffee Area and welcome visitors to the Cathedral. The coffee area will initially be open for 5 mornings per week but our goal is to see this increased to include afternoons.
Applicants must be supportive of the ethos of the Cathedral.
The hours will be 20 per week, ideally 9.45 to 13.45 Tuesday to Saturday with some flexibility both available to the correct applicant and in order to assist the Cathedral team at times of special events.
The post is for an initial 6 month period but may be made permanent subject to the availability of resources and the salary will be £7.50 per hour.
