At my request, The Bishop of Clogher, The Rt Revd John McDowell, has kindly agreed to make available his addresses from the Down and Dromore Quiet Day on Shrove Tuesday 2013.
It was our special privilege to welcome John as our speaker as the former rector of Dundela in the Diocese of Down.
Although these three short addresses were given at the start of Lent, his themes of ‘Confusion, Freedom and Learning How to Die,’ are timeless and thought–provoking.
