Psalm Drummers will add a special dimension on 18 March
We are delighted that Simon Edwards and a group of Psalm Drummers will help lead our worship at the St Patrick’s Day Festival Service in Down Cathedral.
Who are the Psalm Drummers?
Psalm Drummers are Christian drummers and percussionists who use their skills as drummers to share their faith. They are part of an international network of all ages, abilities and walks of life who come together to create a vibrant sound and energy reflecting the rhythm of Christ in their lives.
These kit players, hand drummers and percussionists share their gift and passion in all kinds of settings – schools workshops and youth groups, festival street drumming and local drum circles to leading praise and worship celebrations.
The drummers will issue a call to worship and then respond to Bishop Clarke’s address with a piece specially composed for the occasion.
