Belfast Church Partnership Day – Open a CAP Debt Centre in your church
Opening a CAP Centre will connect you with people in your community who are suffering as a result of debt. They may be struggling to feed their families, depressed and alone. Your church will be able to offer a real solution through CAP’s professional Debt Help service and show God’s love in their darkest hour. The partnership of CAP’s service and the compassion of the local church is changing thousands of lives every year.
Our big vision is to have a CAP Debt Centre in every town and city in the UK, we are almost half way there. Will your church join us today so that the local church can give an answer to one of our society’s biggest problems?
At the moment, we reach over 700 new clients a year through our 13 NI CAP Debt Centres. However there are still so many more who we cannot help as there is not a church with a CAP Debt centre covering their area. Our vision is to have at least 25 centres across the whole of Northern Ireland, so that everyone in need can be helped. We do hope you can be part of this.
Therefore, I’m incredibly excited to announce that we are holding a Church Partnership Day in Belfast (Willowfield Parish) on Thursday 6 June.
These partnership days are a great opportunity to learn more about the heart and vision of CAP and how you might be able to move forward in opening a CAP Debt Centre, running the CAP Money Course in your church or our new initiative to help the unemployed, CAP Job Clubs.
We do ask that your Senior Leader visits us on one of these days before you open a CAP Debt Centre, but anyone who is interested in being involved would be welcome to attend. The day is completely free and lunch will be provided.
