Moira celebrates confirmation in style!
St John’s Moira, celebrated the confirmation of 12 candidates on 19 May with a sit–down hot dinner for 200 in the parish centre.
8 young people from Moira, 3 adults and 1 young person from Magheralin were confirmed by Bishop Harold in a full church. An overflow of parishioners and supporters followed the service on an audio/video link in the Bateman Suite.
One of the candidates turned 14 on the day and he had a special cake to go with the roomful of desserts also on offer!
