Carryduff seeks an organist

Carryduff is looking for an organist/musician who can lead and inspire the enthusiastic congregation and choir through the use of music.

Speaking recently their new rector Stephen Lowry said “This is a great opportunity for someone to have a valued input to the worship in this church family.”

Having just arrived a few months ago Stephen has quickly come to appreciate the enthusiasm and sensitivity which the congregation displays in weekly worship. “They’re great. They sing well, respond clearly and value worship well. It is a wonderful group of people with whom to work.”

Two deputy organists who have served faithfully since the last Organist moved on have indicated that they are no longer able to serve. “This is a priority for the vestry and we want to find a suitable person for this key role. We are open to new ways of developing the role, especially with the younger generation ready for a challenge.”

Killaney Parish also requires an organist and the suitable person will be offered a role there too.

For further information, please contact the rector, Stephen Lowry, by 30 September 2013 by email or phone:
