Death of Mrs Vera McKeen
It is with sadness that we announce the death of Mrs Vera Keen, a long–standing member of the Down and Dromore Diocesan Council.
Bishop Harold has paid tribute to Vera saying:
“Vera was an amazing lady and very much a pillar of St Martin’s on the Newtownards Road. She loved its choral tradition and was a faithful member of the choir. The closure of St Martin’s was a great sadness to her. She continued to serve on the Diocesan Council, and was someone who could be totally relied upon. We will miss her greatly.”
The funeral of will be on Monday 6 January at 11.00 am in Belfast Cathedral.
