Facilities and Communications Coordinator, Bangor Parish

The above post is for 22 hours a week at a salary of £13,000 pa (equates to £21864 for a 37 hour week).

Term of contract: 3 years.

We seek to recruit an enthusiastic person who will be instrumental in creating a seven–day–a–week centre of Christian excellence at the heart of Bangor– a hub for worship, prayer, teaching, hospitality, fellowship and mission.

The successful candidate will be based in our new Church office and will be required to promote and be responsible for:

  • Day to day management of the use of the newly renovated Church building and the Hall

  • Developing and maintaining a communications strategy for the Church

  • Personal Assistant to the Rector

  • Church office administration

  • Developing and liaising with volunteer teams

Relevant experience in managing an office, in leading volunteers, and in communications is desirable. Relevant IT qualification and/or experience, together with the ability to relate to a wide cross–section of people, is essential. 

The position could expand in line with increased activity.
