Prayer scroll is passed on for the first time!

We have had our first prayer scroll handover of the year. Dr Ronnie Alcorn from Titanic hands over to Revd John Cunningham from Ballymacarrett on 4 January.

All of the parishes are taking part in our year of unbroken prayer, each taking up the mantle for between 3 and 7 days. The prayer scroll will then be passed on to the next location.

The scroll is a symbol of commitment to sustain prayer but it also documents the prayer journey through the diocese. Parishes will fill in the dates on which they held the prayer mantle as well as an encouraging story or comment from their time praying and a prayer of blessing for the next parish.
