24–7 Prayer is a blessing to our parishes

The prayer scroll continues to make its way around the diocese and, without fail, the task of sustaining continuous prayer has been a blessing to our churches.

Here’s just some of the feedback from our February prayer rooms… 

29–1 February, St Marks, Belfast 

“Stories of blessing – people finding space and meeting God for perhaps the first time in a long time. The Lord has started a work here and we hope he will continue to bless us”

1 Feb–4 February, St Brendan’s, Sydenham

  • “A tremendous experience for all ages within our parish”

  • Youth; “I now realise the wonder of prayer and how important it is”

  • “So many positive comments PRAISE THE LORD”

4–7 February, Knocknagoney 

  • “This time has been precious makes me determined to set more time aside to be with the lord”

7–14 February, Holywood

14–16 February, St Elizabeth’s, Dundonald

  • “A time of togetherness and encouragement for all Gods people young and old”

17–23 February, St Mary’s, Ballybeen

  • “Just what I needed– right time, right place”

  • “Time and space to pray was refreshing– a truly uplifiting week”

23 February – 1 March St Marks, Newtownards
