A new challenge for Carl McCambley
Warmest congratulations to Carl McCambley, Musical Director in Shankill Parish, Lurgan who has just been appointed as the new Headmaster of Waringstown Primary School (WPS).
As well as his ministry in the parish, Carl has often shared his musical skills with the diocese, leading worship during Bishop’s Bible Week and at ordination services.
Carl has been Shankill’s Musical Director for 11 years and before that was organist in Magheralin for 17 years (he started very young!). He has also had great success with the WPS choir in the BBC Songs of Praise ‘Celebrate’ school choir competition, winning at least twice.
Carl will officially take up his new position on 1st September 2014 and we wish him every blessing in this new challenge.
