Historic Bill is passed at General Synod
An historic Bill to provide for interchangeability of ministry between the Church of Ireland and the Methodist Church in Ireland was passed by The General Synod of the Church of Ireland this morning, 10 May.
Following the vote, both the Archbishop of Armagh and the Methodist President spoke of the historic nature of the moment and the Synod gave a standing ovation.
