Support the Maralin BB Sure and Steadfast Challenge
The Sure & Steadfast Challenge involves a group of leaders from the Company Section of Maralin Boys Brigade carrying out our own version of an Iron Man Challenge.
The first Stage Starts on 31 May and involves a 100 mile cycle ride from Portrush to the Car Park at Donard Park in Newcastle. On 1 June there will a team doing a 22 mile hike through the Mournes, taking the baton as it were from the cycle team. The gruelling 22 mile hike will be completed in only 1 day!The final stage will be a challenging 3 mile swim taking the grand total of the distance covered to 125 miles.
This is an appropriate amount as this is the 125th Anniversary of the Boys Brigade.I think you would all agree this is a Challenge worth supporting, so please get behind the team and pledge your support at our just giving page here.
Our target is £500, and we only have 30 days to raise it. If we don’t hit the target, we don’t get any of the funds we have raised, so please dig deep and give us your support!
The funds we raise will go towards BB funds for new equipment and also the renovation of our church, Magheralin Parish Church.
