Three new appointments in the diocese

A new rector, a canon and a dean…

The Revd Alan Peek, currently rector of the Parish of Derg and Termonamongan in the Diocese of Derry, has been appointed as incumbent of the Parish of Movilla Abbey in the Diocese of Down. The institution will take place on Friday 5 September at 8.00 pm.

Bishop Harold has invited Revd Francey McCrea, rector of St Brendan’s Parish, Sydenham, to become a canon of Down Cathedral.  

Bishop Harold has appointed the Revd Canon Bryan Kerr to be Dean of Dromore Cathedral. Revd Kerr, currently rector of the Parish of Lisbellaw with Coolbuck and a canon of Clogher Cathedral, was recently appointed as incumbent of the Cathedral Parish of Dromore. The institution will be on 6 August.
