100 Ways To Get Your Church Noticed

We live in an age of browsers. People flip across TV channels, click through image–based web pages and flip through glossy magazines. So how do we get noticed? How can we make sure our church activities, events and people catch the attention of this busy, visual world? How do we help our members to be walking advertisements for a healthy, vibrant church?

A new book, 100 Ways To Get Your Church Noticed gives tips and advice on ‘publicity’ in the normal sense – websites, posters, parish magazines and media liaison. It also covers strategic planning, the look and feel of our church buildings, and ways of interacting with the local community.

The book was originally published in 2006, but has been fully updated to reflect recent developments in social media, responsive websites, mobile apps and more.

Neil Pugmire worked for nine years as a regional journalist and is now a communications adviser for the Church of England. Contact him here.

You can buy the book, priced at £16.99, direct from Church House Publishing website here.
