Down and Dromore team arrives in Northern Argentina

A small team from Down and Dromore has just arrived in our link diocese of Northern Argentina. Bishop Harold and his wife Liz have been joined by George Newell, Jane Corbett and Jeff Marshall in Salta, the capital city of the northwestern province of the same name.

The team is being hosted by Bishop Nick Drayson and his wife Catherine and will be in the diocese until 18 November. They will spend time encouraging both the leadership and the people and take part in a variety of special meetings including a ‘Families First’ Conference.

George Newell will spend more time in Salta, looking at urban mission initiatives there whilst Bishop Harold and Liz, Jane and Jeff will visit projects in the Chaco including Alec Deane and the Siwok Foundation.

Please pray for the team and their hosts, for a safe and fruitful trip. Internet connections permitting, we hope to hear from them during their stay.
