Pray for Syria this Christmas
These are the words of George Andrea who leads the work of the Bible Society in Syria:
“One of our church–leaders said the other day: ‘There are many people in the Middle East today who consider living in a stable as luxury!’ Yes, at a time when half of the population of our country have left their homes, you can understand that a ‘home’ gets a very particular meaning to each one of us.”
Let’s be thankful today for the many blessings of our lives and remember, in particular, the thousands of people in Syria who have been made refugees by the ongoing civil war.
