The clocks are changing at Bangor Abbey!

Bangor Abbey was featured on BBC Newsline this evening (13 January) because this morning the clock faces on the famous tower were removed for refurbishment.

After being in situ for approximately 180 years it’s no surprise that they are in need of some TLC but it will also be an opportunity for the clock mechanism to be fully automated.
