Redeeming Our Communities (ROC) is an established charity recognised for the unique way it brings people and organisations together to improve the lives of individuals and communities. Our aim is to help local people address the social needs of their communities, working across the UK often in some of the most deprived areas. There are currently over 150 projects nationally in excess of 2000 people across all age ranges.

Based: Home / shared office in the Belfast area

Hours:

Part–time (22.5 hrs per week)

£9,600 p.a. (subject to 3 month/6 month review)

An opportunity has opened up for a Project Development Manager to support our existing projects in Northern Ireland, as well as helping to facilitate and develop new projects. The successful candidate will establish and maintain good relationships with staff and volunteers, at our existing ROC projects. If successful you will also help to raise the awareness of ROC by regularly networking with local authorities, police and fire services, other agencies and church and other faith based organisations. The successful candidate will also be involved in identifying areas of need across the Northern Ireland and identifying local funding sources.

The demand for our services is growing rapidly and this is an exciting opportunity (and time!) to join a progressive and forward thinking charity at a key stage of its development. There will be real opportunities to develop your skills and experience in key areas including fundraising and project management.

This post would ideally suit someone who is well organised with a friendly outgoing personality, a positive attitude and a passion to see communities and lives changed for the better.
