Happy 100th Birthday to Helen!
Bishop Harold had the pleasure of wishing Mrs Helen Hobcroft a happy 100th birthday when she attended a coffee morning for retired clergy and spouses at the See House.
Helen made her century on Saturday 18 April and, as is her custom, was singing in the church choir in Holywood Parish the next day! It’s probably safe to say she is the most senior chorister in the diocese.
Helen comes originally from Glengeary, Co Dublin and was married to Revd Canon John Hobcroft for 39 years.
