Bangor Abbey hosts St Columbanus Anniversary Service
Bishop Harold joined (L–R) Fr Joseph Gunn (parish priest of St Comgall’s Roman Catholic Church), Bishop Noel Treanor (Roman Catholic Diocese of Down and Connor) and Canon Ronnie Nesbitt (rector of Bangor Abbey) for a service of Morning Prayer on Saturday 20 June.
The service was attended by some 200 visitors from Italy who were visiting Bangor as part of their celebrations to commemorate the 1400th anniversary of the death of St Columbanus.
