’Beyond the Veil’ continues this weekend
Beyond the Veil – a stunning exhibition telling the stories of women of the Bible continues this weekend in Magheralin Parish Church.
Over 3000 people have already visited the event which showcases wedding dresses worn by prominent women including Arlene Foster, Lady Sylvia Hermon, Gillian Porter and Wendy Austin.
The organisers are delighted that so many people of all ages have taken the time to visit and many have commented on the evident passion and creativity that has been poured into creating such a fabulous event.
Conversations are continuing over delicious refreshments which are being served in the “Mary and Martha Tearoom”.
The exhibition is open this weekend to the public:
Friday 12 June 10.00 am–10.00 pm
Saturday 13 June 10.00 am–10.00 pm
Sunday 14 June 2.00 pm–8.00 pm
The festival concludes with a special celebration service on Sunday evening at 8.00 pm. The speaker will be Mrs Hilary McClay and music will be provided by the amazing Kerygma choir. Everyone is very welcome to join us on Sunday evening for this special event.
