Update from Maridi, South Sudan

Maridi is currently quiet but tense and there is little freedom of movement. The shops haven’t reopened and water and power may soon be cut off. Leaders from ECSS (Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan) are out and about praying, encouraging the displaced and trying to assess the needs of those burnt out of their houses. Many people have been lost but it’s difficult to know how many for sure as bodies are still being found and the areas are unsafe to travel in.

Please continue to pray for our brothers and sisters in Maridi.
