Are Syrian Refugees Welcome Here? EMBRACE event addresses a live issue
In light of the current movement of migrant people into Europe from the Middle East and North Africa, EMBRACE NI is holding a discussion evening in Belfast on 26 August. This is very much a live issue in government and the media and the event is an opportunity to become better informed about the surrounding issue and policies regarding entry into the UK.
In particular, the event will look at the possibility of Syrian refugees being resettled locally, some of the challenges faced by refugees who are already here, and how churches can respond in welcome.
