LAMP holds its first ever Holiday Bible Club

Our Diocesan Children’s Officer, Julie Currie, was with LAMP (Lecale Area Mission Partnership) last week facilitating a ‘LETSGO’ Holiday Bible Club in Down Parish Hall, Downpatrick.

14 volunteers from the churches in the group, plus clergy plus Julie and Iain McAleavey from Moira parish led the activities . The club met from 3–7 August for 2 hours and attracted from 38–45 children each evening.

“Julie led us brilliantly and a wonderful time was had by all,” said the rector of Down Parish, Revd Stuart Burns.

The LETSGO material has been developed by our own Down and Dromore Youth and Children’s Department and is based around the theme of building our lives on Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:10). Contact Julie if you would like to use this pack in the future or if you would like to discuss running a holiday Bible club for the first time.
