Revd Adrian Dorrian appointed to Lecale Area Mission Partnership
Revd Adrian Dorrian, currently rector of Dundela, has been appointed to the Lecale Area Mission Partnership (LAMP) as Associate Minister and Director of Children’s and Youth Ministry.
Adrian will join the LAMP ministry team and oversee the development of youth and children’s work across the mission area.
Speaking about his appointment, he said:
“I am really excited to be taking up this new post in the Lecale Area Mission Partnership. I’m looking forward to being part of a large team alongside Dean Henry Hull and Revd Stuart Burns, and to focussing on Children’s and Youth Ministry as well as getting to know the people across the partnership.
“It will be difficult for us to leave Dundela after a relatively short time here, as my wife Anne and I have made many friends in the Parish and it is a very special place for us both. We are grateful for the welcome we’ve received. We look forward to what God has in store for us in LAMP, and to hearing of the great things he will continue to do in Dundela.”
Speaking on behalf of the Lecale team Dean Henry Hull said:
“We are thrilled that Adrian is coming to be part of the Lecale ministry team. He undoubtedly brings many gifts that will benefit the churches in the wider Lecale area.”
Adrian will be welcomed at a special service on a date to be announced.
